Finally decided to get this tablet after researching for a reasonalbe buy. Despite some bad reviews there were some good ones, so took my chances on it. It did not live up to any of its claims. It would not connect to my wifi after several tries, then after awhile, finally got the broswer working but the screen was not responding to my touch and had to poke harder on LCD several times just to get it to work. I could not upload anything from Slide at all because it keeps saying could not find connection. Tried the reset button, but still got nothing. Finally tried Utube...it was very slow as it uploads. When it finally uploads my search it stalled, then uploaded again twice. Finally back online and then it disconnects. Made me check my internet connections several times just to be sure. My lap top was working fine the whole time...this thing is going back. It was not worth the money at all. Gonna spend the 500 bucks and just get an Ipad 2. There's a reason this one is cheap.
I bought this for my son for Christmas. It immediately connected to my secure WLAN without a blink of the eye. It works absolutely great. By these reviews, it's really a love-hate relationship! My son loves his. I like it so much I'm buying two more, one for me and one for my brother-in-law. I recommend it!
