Customer Reviews
I wanted a case for my new Lenovo IdeaPad K1. This is my second tablet and it is nice to have a case that can stand at different angles so that if you are watching movies or performing other task, it can be moved for a better viewing angle. The JKase said it was leather and for a price of $11.99 I thought "How could I go wrong?"
Well, the case came in last night and I have mixed feelings about it.
First off, this thing is NOT leather. After reading the product description further down the item's page it is later described as synthetic leather. The case doesn't seem too bad, but it has a cheap feel to it. The case fits the Lenovo K1 pretty well, and it holds the Ideapad at 3 different angles and doesn't slip. There are cut outs for the front and rear cameras and holes where the speakers are located as well. The case does it job but I still wonder about its durability due to the materials it is made from.
In the end, it is a case that does its job for $11.99, but due to its cheap feel, it is hard to really like it. I will keep the JKase until I can find something nicer at a reasonable price.
The case is ok, except that the grooves to hold the tablet at an angle seem to bee too shallow, so it slips out of the grooves quite easily. Not bad if you're on a flat surface and using a bluetooth keyboard, but otherwise, it slips out of the grooves too easily.
Material seems durable, and protects the tablet nicely. I really like the fact that you can spin the table portrait or landscape while keeping it snapped together, but again, the shallow grooves are a drag.
Shipping was fast, price was good.
