Customer Reviews

I installed the FREEdi YouTube Downloader on my Android 2.0 tablet. Android 2.0 has limited video capacities, but I previously had found a YouTube video player app that works on my tablet. FREEdi quickly provided a list of high quality videos that played in very high quality on my tablet while connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal.
Just a guess: If FREEdi is not working properly on your Android tablet, make sure you have a working YouTube video player, and then re-install FREEdi.
The "save" option took about ten minutes to download a twenty minute video to my SD card using a fast wi-fi connection. On playback, I had good audio, but no video. I went into the FREEdi menu and checked the box for "use your devices default video player". I de-selected the box for "list available video formats" to enable FREEdi to automatically select the best available format. After those changes, the downloaded videos play back perfectly.
You also have the option to download only the audio from a music video, so that you can listen to the audio from your SD card. So, if you enjoy listening to Gwenyth Paltrow perform on "Glee" more than looking at Gwenyth Paltrow perform on "Glee", you have that option.
A very nice Android video app at the unbeatable price of FREE.

It works perfectly! What a great app. Big thanks to whoever created it. You can save video or mp3. Sweet.
